Uven Chong completed his undergraduate studies at Arizona State University, where he earned dual degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Economics. Before joining EECi, he completed the MPhil in Engineering for Sustainable Development at the Centre for Sustainable Development, where he wrote a dissertation on improving the sustainability of the transportation system in Malaysia. Besides research work, he enjoys rowing for Wolfson College and debating with the Cambridge Union. Currently, his PhD research with EECi relates to systems level planning for transportation technologies and infrastructure in urban environments.
