Adam is a PhD research student, working in the Building Technologies team as part of the Energy Efficient Cities initiative. His work is focused on the challenge of retrofitting, with a specific interest in social housing in the UK. Adam is working with project partners, City West housing association, to investigate the possibilities for energy demand reduction and the potential for novel energy supply systems for 15,000 existing properties in the Greater Manchester area.
